Sequel comes out in May.)

Uhn, I don't host my own radio show, nor do I have your impeccable eye for detail, so you definitely outrank me on the cool-o-meter...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19261226.post-9028741139106350142007-12-20T17:34:00.000-02:002007-12-20T17:34:00.000-02:00No, I check this out from time to time. I post over at Aint It Cool News, where I recently got handed by head by a couple of basement dwelling momma's boys for misspelling Hal Jordan's name as "Jordon." Though in the non-Ultimate Universe, Wasp experimented with being able to keep her wings as she grew (she realized that as Avengers Chairperson, she had been subconsciously making herself bigger and bigger even in her Waspy form.)

She found that she could retain her wings at a size of about 54 to 60 inches of height.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19261226.post-36498487413233336952007-12-19T08:19:00.000-02:002007-12-19T08:19:00.000-02:00Oh, also, never say "even if it is in an Archie co...Oh, also, never say "even if it is in an Archie comic"... the focus of this column falls on superhero comics because that's what I read most, but you'll see scifi, fantasy, crime (Scalped, for example) and other genres in the Dissector, I just don't read Archie regularly, that's why I've never featured them.MaGnUshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06351888054411049033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19261226.post-83099449883470074142007-12-19T08:06:00.000-02:002007-12-19T08:06:00.000-02:00Shad, thanks for the comment (subliminal message: ...Shad, thanks for the comment (subliminal message: have you voted for the Autopsy Awards?), I'll be sure to check that out and include it in next column.MaGnUshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06351888054411049033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19261226.post-85174754049785810922007-12-19T07:00:00.000-02:002007-12-19T07:00:00.000-02:00I'm no good at finding nits. So when I found one today, I said "I gotta tell The Dissector" about this, even if it is in an Archie comic...

TITLE: Jughead and Friends Digest (Archie)

ISSUE: 25 (first story)

CULPRIT: Adam Wamsly (colorist)

DISSECTION: In the first panel of the flashback that shows how Jughead's hat was destroyed yesterday, Jughead is shown wearing the same green t-shirt as he wears in the main story. Now that's not necessarily a nit; many teenage boys don't change their clothes as often as they should. But later in the flashback, we see Jughead putting a purple t-shirt in the laundry hamper, and the implication is that was the shirt he had been wearing, so the shirt in the first panel should have been purple...ShadZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10420681551502894149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19261226.post-34566596262437542562007-12-18T04:43:00.000-02:002007-12-18T04:43:00.000-02:00MKF, you got it right... Dominik B. got it right too over at the ICS forums some five minutes before you posted, but then again, he's my editor there, so there might be a conflict of interest there... you both get the kill.

I see what you mean on Cyclone's shoulder, but nah, I think it's just a matter of weird perspective. Thanks for the heads up, anyway.MaGnUshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06351888054411049033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19261226.post-29266025633541212612007-12-18T03:27:00.000-02:002007-12-18T03:27:00.000-02:00For DT, I'm just winging it (ha) since the only Ul...For DT, I'm just winging it (ha) since the only Ultimate book I've read is the Vision miniseries, and I'm not an expert on Wasp in either universe, but aren't her wings always tiny, and thus only 'appear' when she shrinks?

For JSA #11, you may want to take a look at this, I'm not sure if it's a nit or not - on (story) page 11, when Cyclone hands Kingdom Superman his costume, does it look to you like Sinclair accidentally coloured her right shoulder blue? It's done as if the edge of her tank top is the farthest edge of her shoulder we see, and the blue is Stargirl's costume, but I think from the angle Maxine's standing at, we should be able to see her shoulder beyond the tank top.

I thought I'd ask for your opinion before calling it a nit (or dissection) - even if it were, it's a 1 Bazzar at most, but since Cyclone's outfit is my Dissector special subject, I thought I should mention it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
