The Dissector #83.
DISCLAIMER (angry creators, please read)
[[WARNING! THIS COLUMN MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS!]]
"Why couldn't that isotope have made me deaf instead of blind." Daredevil, putting up with Spider-Man's banter, Amazing Spider-Man V1 #565.
Dang, it's almost Wednesday, which means that I publish a column, and a new comic batch comes out! Anyway, this column is for the week of 07/09; although I had to take some of the dissections from my vault; for one, my dissections from 2004 are over. Dissector's Picks Of The Week! Best Book Of The Week is Booster Gold V2 #1.000.000; Pure Platinum!!! It was just a good conclusion to a first arc for this great book, with even a happy ending (for now)... just watch the Moments Of The Week and see if I liked this book or what? Worst Book Of The Week? New Exiles #8... boring.
Oh, before I forget, Mato picked up the DT! from last column, it's indeed Animal Man's boots not being colored or drawn. Now, the dissections!

"KRYPTON IS A MYTH."
TITLE: Action Comics (DC).

DISSECT-O-METER: 6 Bazzars.
<-------------------------------->

DISSECT-O-METER: 10 Bazzars.
<-------------------------------->
"SEKRIT FILES ARE CORRIKT."
TITLE: Secret War (Marvel).
ISSUE: 01 of 05.
CULPRIT: Brian Michael Bendis (writer).

DISSECT-O-METER: 5 Bazzars. each.
<-------------------------------->
"NO IDEA WHAT TO SAY HERE."

ISSUE: 03 of 13.
CULPRIT: Mark Millar (writer) and/or Chris Eliopoulos (letterer).
DISSECTION: Last dissection, last one from the older ones I had to go with for this column. Instead of the "trial" of the Hulk, a caption reads "trail".
DISSECT-O-METER: 3 Bazzars.
<-------------------------------->
An average of 5.3 Bazzars on ten dissections? Am I going soft again?!!?!?!? Never mind that for now; let's go with the Moments Of The Week; where the first four are from Booster Gold. First up., Batman shows how he's appreciated Booster's value from the very start... but kept it to himself:
Good one, Bruce! Next, Rip Hunter gives Booster his sister back:
She looks nice in that costume... Next, we find out why Rip is so interested in Booster:
I did not see that coming... And finally, a nice sum up of why Booster is such a great hero in the caption for this page:
Just to show you that in the past years, he's accepted that being a hero is not about the accolades, but about doing the right thing. And an awesome image of Skeets wearing a beret!!! Last, and not from Booster Gold, another "Batman: closet nice guy" moment:
ZOMG! He has feelings!!! That's it for now, until next week, I'll be on the outlook for more dissections, because (almost) nothing escapes...
THE DISSECTOR!

Hi Magnus.. it has been a long time since the last time i leave a note here.
Nice column this one.. :)
Hope to read lot more of this columns on the future..
See you around.
BTY.. before i leave.. is Captain America gonna wear the mask with the eyes on the back of his head?
Thanks for stopping by; come here often. And no, Cap has just removed his mask, and is putting it away. That's not it.
Comments originally posted on ICS.net, right after the column was posted:
Dominik B.: Hah, I know this one. Assuming Cap is about to put on his cowl... well, he'd see an awful lot if he'd put it on backwards, wouldn't he?
Nick S.: For the Dissect This, if he took his mask off like that, either the eyeholes should be facing towards him, or the mask should be upside-down.
Dominik B.: That's what I said! I get the badge. Not you!
Mato: Isn't Cap's cowl part of the suit?
Martín "MaGnUs" Pérez: Dom, Snake: No, Cap is not putting on his cowl, he just removed it and is probably putting it away, it's not impossible that he'd hold it like that.
Mato: No, not at this point in history...
I'm starting column #84 right now, so unless someone gets it in the next couple three hours....
Nick S.: Mags, read. He's taking the mask OFF. Put something on your head, grab it, and remove it. The front will be facing TOWARDS you, if its pointing down.
Martín "MaGnUs" Pérez: Snake: not if your turn it around in your hands; people do that when they take of hats and other items of clothing. And yes,you wrote he was taking it off, Dom wrote he was putting it on, sorry. But you still haven't found the dissection.
